Mike Alfstad is the founder and CEO of Alfstad Capital. As an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth, he also acts as an investment manager and finance columnist. He is a proud University of Washington alum and he enjoys racing vintage cars within SOVREN, whose proceeds support Seattle Children’s Hospital.

He founded an independent financial services provider through his affiliation with Commonwealth Financial Network® to meet the fixed income needs of financial institutions, trust departments, credit unions, money managers, and broker/dealers. As an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth, Michael utilizes advanced portfolio performance and analytics technology to present accurate performance data and shape the discipline of investment decisions. Decades of market experience strive to bring asset/liability experience to management of clients' funds with a growth and protection of principal discipline. Assets are managed through Commonwealth, a Registered Investment Adviser.
